Dave & Kristen’s Ireland Destination Wedding

Ballyseed Castle || Tralee Ireland

I remember so vividly the day Kristen told me they have changed their wedding plans to a destination wedding in Ireland. I had just gotten back from the gym and decided to take an epsom salt bubble bath. Something made me think to check in and message Kristen about her wedding plans since we had chatted about it in the previous months. I nearly jumped out of the tub after she told me the change of plans and that they already discussed what they could offer me to get me to come and photograph it!!

Leading up to their day all I could think and pray about was NO RAIN! PLEASE NO RAIN!! I knew Kristen and Dave would be up for anything if it did rain, but how could you not want them to have the most perfect weather with an opportunity like this?? And you know what? THEY DID!! It was gorgeous out! I honestly don’t think you could have asked for better weather!

Not to mention better scenery! Driving up to Ballyseede Castle , YES A CASTLE, you are greeted by two HUGE Irish Wolf hounds a few other smaller dogs (aka the best greeting I’ve ever gotten). You then drive around the bend to see the most beautiful ivy covered castle. This place is straight out of a fairytale!! Gardens all around, donkeys and miniature horses out in front. A grand entrance to huge red doors. My jaw dropped instantly! I couldn’t handle all the beauty!!

If I could, I’ve photograph Kristen and Dave’s wedding everyday for the rest of my life. Not only because its in a beautiful country in an amazing castle. Because Kristen and Dave themselves are such a fun, easy going, and adventurous couple. They were up for anything and everything that day! Dave and Kristen looked like an Irish kind and queen, especially with Kristen’s wildflower bouquet done by Shades of Bloom and little flowers all around her hair. You could tell they had a blast that day with all their friends and family.

Dave and Kristen I’m so happy you let me be part of your amazing day!! And for allowing me such an unbelievable opportunity!! I’ve forever grateful!!
