Anthony & Katie’s Madison Beach Hotel Engagement Session!

Hours before Katie and Anthony’s engagement session it was raining with heavy fog! I was worried that we would have to reschedule or move the location of their session. Katie and Anthony got engaged at the Madison Beach Hotel, so that spot is definitely special to them and they wanted to incorporate it into their session! But it ended up turning into a beautiful day with an amazing sunset!! We started at Bauer Park in Madison (photographers looking for a beautiful rustic location on the shoreline, this one is great!!) and then went to the Madison Beach Hotel for the sunset!

I actually really loved their proposal story!! Or more so a specific detail leading up to it! Anthony knew he wanted to propose to Katie before the holidays and was waiting for the ring to be ready and of course the right moment! Leading up to it, Katie had an appointment to get her nails done. Anthony knew she had recently saw this greenish nail color she was going to go for realized he had to tell the nail technician to hide all the green colors from the wall and push her to get her nails painted a pinkish or a neutral! He knew she’d love it more if her nails were on the more pink side than the green during the proposal the the pictures after! I seriously thought that was the cutest story!!

And it tells a lot about them that I noticed that their session. Anthony is just so sweet with Katie and loves her so much. They are both so warm with one another and love to laugh together (which I ALWAYS love for photos!). They both not only nailed the cute laughing photos, but they also nailed the more serious and intimate photos. They really should just be models!! I couldn’t get over how amazing they both looked together. Not to mention their outfits they brought were so on point!!

I love these two already and I can’t wait to see them again in November for their big day!!
